007 Handyman will either charge by the hour or by the job.

For multiple odds and ends and various small tasks, we usually charge by the hour, since it’s difficult to estimate the amount of time needed for completion.

For more specific and larger jobs, we usually give an estimate (charge by the job), which includes labor and material cost, unless otherwise noted.

Most of the time we are able to give pretty accurate pricing over the phone, especially if we receive pictures of the work needed. But whenever it’s required, we are glad to do an in-home estimate as well. We give Free Estimates in the Thousand Oaks area. Anything past Agoura Hills to the east and past Camarillo to the west, we charge $45 to come out for an in-home estimate, which we’ll Refund if we actually get the job.

Trip charges will be added for customers outside of the Thousand Oaks area. Again, anything east of Agoura Hills, and west of Camarillo.

Materials will be billed by rounding up the price to the nearest dollar and a 15% mark-up will be added as well. And we usually charge between $50-$75 for purchasing materials at the hardware store, depending on the time spent there.

Hourly Rates

• $75.00 for the first hour (minimum charge)
• $59.00 for each additional hour
• $69.00 for each additional hour (plumbing & electric)

The above prices are for one technician.

The rate for a second technician is $59.00 per hour

The rate for a helper is $49.00 per hour

Payment Options. Cash, Check, or Credit Card (+3.5%).

Some jobs require a down payment made up front in case we need to purchase a large amount of materials for the job, or if we purchase materials that are not returnable.
